Nephews of Fela

KING KORA : deux albums et plein de potentiel, dans le style afro-mandingue séné-gambien teinté de cuivres. L'un des deux concerts que j'ai vu au Sirius ce mois-ci. Le second c'était Fanga, groupe afro-beat de Montpellier dans la tradition de Fela. Pas mal. A propos, j'ai testé pour vous le festival D'UN MONDE A L'AUTRE, première édition, et seul festival d'envergure à Lyon consacré à la musique mondiale. La nuit africaine, comme le reste était de très bonne tenue, avec le retour de MORY KANTE à l'acoustique qui m'a rappelé l'émotion procurée par SALIF KEITA il y a quelques mois dans cette même salle de l'Auditorium.
